CSR PT. Jawa Power

GNOTA accompanied PT. Jawa Power conducted a CSR program at Bojong Koneng 05 Elementary School, Babakan Madang, Bogor, on Tuesday (12/12). Activities started from 09.00 to 12.00 and attended by the employee and President Director of PT Jawa Power, Mr. Wichard von Harrach, Secretary of Yayasan GNOTA, Ibu Yasinta Widowati and several staff in charge of the activity.

Welcome guests, be the beginning of the activity at that time and directed into the classroom. PT. Java Power in its CSR program provides educational assistance to 72 foster children, toilet repairs, contribution of reading corners and inspiration classes to students.

The event which was held included the presentation of PT. Jawa Power, continued with how to make something from used goods (recycled).  Employee of PT Jawa Power practiced directly with the children who had been divided into several groups, they make pencil cases and hanging pots for plants from used plastic bottles.

Participants also visited the reading corners that had been tidied up, as well as added reading books in the arranged bookshelves. They also saw students’ toilets that were ready for reuse, after the door repair process was completed.

Thank you PT. Java Power for its help, is very useful. Hopefully it can inspire many other companies to do the same thing for better education.
