Symbolic DAKAB in Tana Toraja

Yayasan Dana Abadi Karya Bakti (DAKAB), symbolically providing continuous education assistance through GNOTA. Tana Toraja became one of the areas of assistance provided. From Makassar to Tana Toraja, travel for approximately 9 hours by car. The school’s target is SDN 176 Tiakka, Saluputti and SDN 190 Lemo Malimbong, Malimbong Balepe, Tana Toraja with each school receiving the assistance of 50 foster children who receive assistance.

The first symbolic assistance was carried out at SDN 156 Tiakka, on Wednesday (6/12). Bamboo music performance and interaction with children is more interesting. Followed by the second school, SDN 190 Lemo Malimbong. At this school, welcoming guests accompanied them until they entered the classroom where the event was held, plus the performances played by the children there, dancing, singing and playing guitar.

Ibu Gendis Siti Hatmanti and Ibu Yasinta Widowati as from Yayasan GNOTA and Bapak Susanto, representatives of Yayasan Dana Abadi Karya Bakti (DAKAB), were present at the symbolic event. Also the school principal, school committee and the teacher council assisted the children in each recipient school.

The recipient students seemed very happy with the event. The series of events closed with the provision of reading books and photos together. Hopefully all that is given can be a good benefit for recipient students in Tana Toraja.
