1001 for Morotai by Help Morotai Indonesia

Morotai Island is an island in the Halmahera group of eastern Indonesia’s Maluku Islands (Moluccas). It is one of Indonesia’s northernmost islands. The strategic geographic location makes Morotai has an underwater beauty such as a blue sea and colorful coral. amazing white and soft sand plus it historical relics from World War II.

Despite of the quality of natural resources, Morotai has no quality of human resources. It can be found when we did a survey from 1st May to 3rd May 2017 whereas, there are 98 pupils out of 100 pupils in 1 school who need help to make them stay in school until their finish with the 9 years compulsory basic education. Though, their live with the inappropriate school tools, school building and school facilities, lack of teachers both quantity and quality, they still have a spirit to keep going to school.

According to the number of children at Morotai who need help, we hope foster parent take a part to help our children at Morotai from dropping out from school. Even the smallest help is valuable for Morotai children. If not now, when? If it isn’t you, who else?
